ApolloOffice is software that runs on your own computer. We do not operate a server for it, we do not have user accounts, and the software sends us no data at all: no telemetry, no crash reports, no usage statistics.
You can connect a Google account as a way to sign in to your own ApolloOffice. ApolloOffice then asks Google for the scopes openid and email only. It receives your Google account ID and your email address and stores them in the local database on your computer, to recognise that account the next time you sign in. The access token from Google is used once for this and is not stored. None of this data leaves your computer or reaches us. You can disconnect Google in Settings at any time, which deletes the stored ID and address. You can also revoke access in your Google account under Security, Third-party connections.
ApolloOffice's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
ApolloOffice works with accounts you set up yourself: GitHub through the GitHub CLI, and the AI providers you choose (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or a local Ollama). To fix a bug it sends issue text and repository code to the AI provider you picked for a worker, and it creates commits and pull requests on GitHub under your account. These transfers go directly from your computer to those services and fall under their privacy policies. API keys you enter are stored encrypted on your computer.
